The history of La Grande Ferme reaches back to the 17th century and follows the major events that shaped this territory: the first farms, the presence of Bishop François de Laval, the development of Saint-Joachim, daily life on the estate, the Conquest of 1759 and the transformation of the property into a place of heritage and transmission. Today, the museum brings this history to life through objects, rooms, exhibitions and stories.
