The engraved stone of La Grande Ferme
Among the witnesses to the site’s past is a large engraved stone discovered on the estate, bearing a distinctive white cross. Associated with the area of the former cemetery used from the late 17th to the 18th century, the stone is now the subject of heritage research and conservation work.
Photographs and memory
Nearly one thousand historic photographs have been digitized to preserve the memory of La Grande Ferme, Saint-Joachim and the people who lived here. Through our Café Mémoire gatherings, these images become a starting point for stories, identifications and shared memories.
